Sometimes I picture walking in Times Square

Sound familiar? But now we'd rather limit it
to only the hypocrites that already live in it.
And I'm still trying to figure out whatever happened with

yearning to breathe free and pursue happiness"
because now it's like "turn around and start packing" cuz:
We draw these lines all over the planet
and you're considered illegal depending on which side you're standing.
And I yearn for the day that all these lines vanish
because I just don't understand them.

Like we'll still define between citizen and immigrant?
That truth to me is just not self-evident.
